Mariette van Zuydam

I was born in the Netherlands where I studied Fine Arts , painting and printmaking at Akademy Minerva in Groningen. I am a Postgraduate in printmaking from the  Sharman Crawford school of Fine Arts in Cork Ireland.

I emigrated to New Zealand in 1982
and was awarded a certificate in adult education and diploma in secondary teaching from Northland polytechnic.

I work in a wide variety of techniques and media. I am fascinated by different techniques and the possibilities they offer.
