Josh Anderson
Josh has in affinity for the act of creating art and also expressing ideas, meanings, and metaphors within a variety of mediums, such as watercolour, pointillism, inks, gouache, and an obsession with the experimental nature of gel plate printmaking, always experimenting with a new technique. Happy with any successful pictures along the way
Josh has recently completed his level four and five Diploma in Creativity And looking to embark again on further study, doing level 6 part-time due to chronic physical limitations. Josh holds all his mentors and fellow students at TLC in High regard
Josh is proud to be a part of the Whangarei art community which is “full of so many lovely people and an exceptional amount of talent.”
The influences or subject matter Josh is attracted to are even more varied than the different mediums he likes such as nature, leaves, flowers, animals, landscapes, still life, the surreal, unusual, the underdog or the misunderstood.
“Try not to be discouraged by failure because it is an opportunity to reflect and improve for next time” art can be very challenging, so it is important to embrace the whole journey. “Some art is deeply personal, and other times it is not that serious”
