Dianne Crane

Dianne works with oils on canvas. She has started painting seriously since retiring. 

Art has always been a part of her life, from her first job as a commercial artist, to studying art at Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology, and to being a Colour Consultant .

Instead  of a theme, she has always been greatly affected by colour and colour combinations. She is influenced by many different things, from Pop art, the simplicity of Japanese art, charcoal  drawing ,or to a beautiful sunset. She is an emerging artist who is still learning to use oil paints and how to put a painting together, and is very grateful to finally have the time to paint.
