I have always been creative and my interest in art and craft started as a toddler practising on my parents walls and furniture! A move to an isolated farm near Kawhia approximately 16 years ago provided the opportunity to join various local art and craft groups to meet like-minded creative people, and to learn and share new skills and techniques.

.Since then I have progressed by trial and error, but mainly self-taught.
After selling the farm to prepare for 'semi-retirement’ the hunt was on for a property that catered for both the ‘farmer’ and the ‘artist’ who both like fishing! Whangarei Heads is now where we call home, and just like in Kawhia my main source of inspiration is the local scenery, beaches, native bush and birdlife.
I work mainly with mixed textiles and media in Flora and Fauna, but also dabble in acrylic painting, quilting, up cycling furniture and crafts.
If you are interested in purchasing any of my work, please send me an email.
