I make production pottery of locally dug and stoneware clays when I'm not busy with our three young ones or out fishing.
Ash and shino glazes are my current favourites for experimenting high temperature reduction atmosphere firing.
Making all of my glazes myself produces unique textures and colours.
Where ever possible I endeavour to reduce the environmental impact of the ceramics I produce. The kiln is fired using waste vegetable oil from our local restaurants and takeaways.
The pots I make are designed to be used in people's daily lives and it is my hope that they are also aesthetically pleasing.
