Jeff Andrews: Metal Worker

Born in 1952 in sunny Nelson, I've been around the world and I came back again. But wait there's more...
I am a self-taught welder and artisan. I worked as a photographer in the Bay of Islands in the 1980's and 90's and came to rest in Parua Bay in the mid 90's. I have an interest in old machinery and classic bikes and cars. I like to recycle materials where possible and this is often apparent in my work. I like to think of myself as a furniture maker/upholsterer but make braziers, balustrades and other metallic installations/objects. I mainly use steel and wood but I've been known to make a perfectly good pair of swimming togs out of a rubbish sack.
Proud father of four children. Non-smoker and non-drinker so sorry, I'm really boring, but... fabulously wealthy and single!
(Ed's note... and a fabulous sense of humour)
