I've recently moved to Ocean Beach on the Whangarei Heads after living in America for the past thirty years.

I find it wonderful to be back home and inspiring to be living in such a beautiful place.

America was good to me artistically and afforded me to be able to paint full time and work as a hobbyist builder ,mostly historical preservation on the older homes that I always lived in.

Now it seems that since I've returned I have reversed these two skills and building and design has become my primary vocation.

I'm proudly untrained as an oil painter and paint mostly from my imagination which brings me much joy as the more whimsical the more fantastical the subject matter the more interesting it becomes for me and if anyone else likes it ...well that's just a huge bonus!
See me at the 2018 Arts Trail
